Fertility Problems
One of the flagships of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the treatment of fertility problems in women, an area where, in our own experience, its success record is impressive. A diagnosis of infertility can be given to a woman when she has been unsuccessful in her efforts to become pregnant for a long time, and a cause of infertility has not been discovered in her male partner.
With acupuncture, laser acupuncture, chinese herbs, naturopathic advice and tuina massage we can help you to resolve symptoms of fertility problems.

Signs & Symptoms
The main symptom is an inability to become pregnant, over the course of six months to a year. It can be accompanied by other signs, depending on what is causing the problem, including:
- Changes in the menstrual cycle
- Changes in sex drive
- Irregular periods
- Amenorrhea, or absence of menstruation
- Painful periods, with back pain, cramps and blood clots
- Acne
- Weight changes
Causes
There is a wide variety of possible causes of infertility in women. Some of the most common among our patients are:
- Hormonal imbalances that prevent ovulation
- Damage to the Fallopian tubes
- Uterine or cervical abnormalities
- Fibroids or cysts, endometriosis
- Pelvic inflammation
- Very high or very low body weight
- Strong physical or emotional stress
