Painful Urination

Painful urination, also called dysuria, is one of the conditions that we treat the most often at the Nei Jing center of Chinese Medicine. It is a very common issue that affects about 25 % of all women at least once every year.

With acupuncture, laser acupuncture, chinese herbs, naturopathic advice and tuina massage we can help you to resolve symptoms of Painful Urination

  • Difficulty urinating
  • Dark, cloudy or bloody urine
  • Urine with an unpleasant smell

Causes:

Some of the most common causes of dysuria that we encounter in our practice include:

  • Local inflammation or irritation

In our experience, the following factors can also contribute to the aggravation of symptoms:

  • Lack of rest
  • Emotional stress
  • Adverse reactions to medication, birth control or hygiene products
